Oscar 2016: Ennio Morricone candidato per la colonna sonora

Dopo essersi aggiudicato il suo terzo Golden Globe (per The Hateful Eight), Ennio Morricone conquista una più che meritata (e prevedibile) nomination all'Oscar nella categoria "Miglior colonna sonora originale", sempre per il film di Tarantino, The Hateful Eight. Se la vedrà con: John Williams, Carter Burwell, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Thomas Newman. Questa è la sesta nomination per il compositore italiano, dopo quelle ottenute per: I giorni del cielo, Mission, Gli Intoccabili, Bugsy e Malena. Ricordiamo che nel 2007 si è aggiudicato il premio Oscar alla carriera.

Oltre alla nomination per Morricone, da segnalare per il nostro cinema la nomination per Youth di Sorrentino (categoria miglior canzone originale).

Lacerimonia di premiazioneè fissata perdomenica 28 febbraio, presso il Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles: a condurla (dopo l'edizione del 2005) l'attore e comico Chris Rock.
