I partecipanti all'iniziativa sono stati: Lu Jianting (Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau), Tang Wei (Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau); Meng Zhiqi (Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau), Sun Congjun (Shanghai Academy of Environmental Sciences), Ji Yunjia (Shanghai Environmental Monitoring Center), Wen Chunbo (Shanghai Environmental Supervision Institute), Tang Lingyan (Shanghai Environmental Radiation Station), Wang Qin (Shanshai Environmental Information Center), Niu Qibi (Shanghai Environmental Communication & Education Center), Zhou Ling (Shanghai Solid Waste Management Center), Hua Yalin (Minhang District Environmental Protection Bureau), Yan Dong (Huangpu District Environmental Protection Bureau), Zhu Yongliang (Songijang District Environmental Protection Bureau), Jiang Jianfeng (Putuo District Environmental Protection Bureau), Yu Xiaoxi (Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office), Cao Yang (Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office), Huang Yizhou (Shanghai Administration of Civil Service), Yu Wei (Shanghai Commission of Housing Urban-Rural Development and Management), Wang Xixi (Shanghai Commission of Economy and Informanization), Shen Liyun (Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center)

Mad a model to export: when made in Italy conquer China. Delegation from Shangai arrived to Roccasecca city, Ortella street, in order to study the landfill and the plants with the aim of replicating the model at the other end of the world. Landfill for the treatment of dangerous waste, mainly municipal waste already treated, that arouses admiration. Attended by the President of the company Claudia Grimaldi and and from the Research and Development Manager Ruggiero Gambatesa, delegation of Shanghai district environmental led by Lu Jiantinghanno visited the entire waste treatment process: from the entrance to the laboratory where the incoming waste is analyzed up to the plant for the production of electricity fed by biogas and to the plant of waste treatment. Mad has attracted the interest of the delegation, has realized in its own Roccasecca site an integrated system for the abatement and energy recovery of atmospheric emissions from the electricity production plant that uses the biogas produced by the landfill. This is a unique integrated system in the world which, through a multiplicity of complex installations, have the purpose to improve the environmental protection of the site, whose effects are continuously monitored through appropriate equipment.
